Pacifis MD Synchro Event · 卡组构筑

思路说明

Until cards like Kairyu-Shin of the Reef, Kairyu-Shin - Leviathan, Sea Stealth II, Fish Sonar, and some similar support are finally ported to OCG/English/Masterduel, Umi will yet to be an archtype, and as a result, be almost impossible to pull from deck in a consistient manner without risking loosing serious advatage to cards like Ash Blossom. All of these fantastic Umi support cards were added in November of 2021, and still aren't in the TCG. The TCG as of late is around 6 months behind, and I would expect Master Duel to add them in the next card release update after that. All of this is to say that: Pacifis won't be particularly viable for a minimum of 3 months or so, as of April 2022. If these cards are ever ported over to our lineup, expect Pacifis to see some moderate resurgence in playability and consistiency. Sidenotes: An alternative variant of this deck can be to make it into a minor stall deck until you can draw into pacifis with cards like Sea Stealth Attack, Tornado Wall, Forgotten Temple of The Deep, Skill Drain, Macro Cosmos, and Imperial Custom. On the topic of Tornado Wall: if you can prevent it from being destroyed when umi leaves the field, its self-destruction effect will never trigger again, allowing it to stay indefinitely. Likewise Maiden of Aqua can be used to activate tornado wall, but because it is not named "Umi," "Umi" cannot leave the field, and thust Tornado Wall will not destroy itself, though I have no idea how/if this rulings nightmare is handled in Master Duel.
