思路说明

I really don't like running small monarch decks. Mostly because the cards just don't lend themselves to small combo openers, meaning you need to maintain a bit of a specific ratio between the certain card types if you want to have good opening hands. i.e. Monarchs break down very quickly the more cards you try to use even partially outaide the archtype. Extra deck toolbox: no Tribute summonable monsters without monarch stats: barely, but add too many and you can't search them or use your omni-search with them. Non-Monarch spell and trap cards: Have fun finding those, lol. Hand traps: All of the mega monarchs require nearly 3 card combos, and actually setting up the board requires more cards or drawing other searchers, making hand-traps extremely dead draws on turn 1, so I don't play them here. As such, monarchs are hard to work with because every card of a certain type you add means you will want to add another card to compliment it in order to maintain the deck consistiency, which quickly bloats and makes the deck even harder to keep consistient. Ultimately, I made this deck for other players who wanted to run a smaller monarch deck without all of the tools that make monarchs fun. The deck is bricky, but monarch decks usually are. I hope the community can appreciate monarchs and this deck as much as I do.
