思路说明

The deck was originally created in MD but outside of the two Called By the Grave, the deck can be easily used in the TCG/OCG by switching the extra for a Triple Tactics Talent, Thrust or even for an additional handtrap, your choice. I tried to keep it to as close as 40 cards as possible and was left with 43. Sorry to those who are very “particular” about running only 40 but this deck DOES work. I wanted to create a deck for the Blue-Eyes White Dragon as it is my favorite DM card. This deck is competitive while giving an Anime like flair, the obvious reason is because I’m running 3 BWD. So, let’s get the Elephant out of the room, why run 3 BWD? There are several reasons: 1. Like I said, the deck is supposed to give off an Anime Flair of Seto Kaiba, so anything less than 3 is unacceptable! lol 2. Most of the other Blue-Eyes decks run only 2 BWD, having 3 guarantees you’ll have it ASAP and if you’re using Spirit with Eyes of Blue to summon it anyway, its effect allows you to summon it from the hand or GY without needing to use Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons just to get it out of the deck. 3. To add with the second reason, Blue-Eyes decks are naturally susceptible to Bystials, having three guarantees that you always have at least one left. Even if you summon BWD as the former reason suggests, this mitigates the immediate use of Roar for grind game purposes. 4. Having three allows you to heavily capitalize the use of Majesty of the White Dragons, destroying 3 cards. I have one Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, most of the reasons are similar to the same as to why have 3 BWD. There are also additional reasons, it makes it so that having a BWD isn’t a dead card, it’s treated as BWD while on the field and GY, meaning it benefits from the targeting protection of True Light and as long as you have successfully summoned it by its inherent conditions, it can be summoned from the GY by True Light as well.
